Hipster diaries: on the morning of the Coachella ticket general sale.

9:30am:  30 minutes until I need to make up my mind about going to Coachella.  I’m 90% sure I don’t want a ticket, and I have very little interest in attending the festival.  I've never gone to Coachella before because it's retarded expensive and other festivals have better lineups.

9:50am:  Eh, no harm in trying to get through, will make a game time decision if I secure a ticket for purchase.  Coworkers who want to talk to me during this moment are incredibly irking.  Can't they see I'm trying to focus on Coachella?  If I am not staring at my computer with full concentration on procuring a Coachella ticket, I will obviously blow my chances.

9:55am: I’m in on standby already, no big deal.  Waiting to move on to my ticket purchasing options if all goes well.  La la la, still waiting.

10:00am:  Everyone on Gchat except me somehow already paid, checked out, and received confirmation, WTF.

10:04am: Alright, I’m in!  There's my ticket and shuttle pass package, fresh for the taking if I want it.  No problem.

10:05am:  The internet declares that week 1 is about to sell out.  Inspired by my good fortune in making it through to a ticket, I guess I have no choice but to buy.

10:05am:  Adding my payment information, everything is good in the world.  I LOVEEEEE COACHELLA!

10:06am: Waiting for my payment to be processed.

10:07am: Word spreads that week 1 has sold out.  But it’s cool, right?  I already started checking out.  I’m good.  Still waiting.  Time left is 0:00 before my checkout cart expires.  Accept my billing information you bastard.

10:27am:  Still waiting.

10:28am:  Finally, a sign of life!  Browser is processing stuff!  Oh no, wait, I am taken to “cannot load page.”  FUUUUUUUUUUUU…. goodbye to that ticket I thought was mine.

10:35am:  Bawling my eyes out to everyone on Gchat and I’m the only person with no ticket and it’s sold out.  Desperately begin refreshing, opening 3409808930 different tabs, hoping I can trick the internet or score another chance via some weird server glitch, which I'm confident must be a real thing that happens.

10:50am: Somehow tickets reappear in my cart, on the 3409808931st tab in my browser.  It is a gift from Jesus.  I enter my billing information again, but brace myself for familiar disappointment.

10:55am:  CONFIRMED.  COACHELLA HAS EMAILED ME A CONFIRMATION THAT I GOT A TICKET.  I SOMEHOW SNUCK BY.  I’M SO LUCKY TO GIVE THEM MY MONEY!!!

11:00am:  I start to calm down.  So stressful.  I feel exhausted.  Index finger is a bit sore from clicking "refresh" over and over.  I’ll never put myself through this again.

11:30am:   Hm, hey wait a minute, I didn’t even really want to go in the first place.  Guess I only bought a ticket because they supposedly sold out…  damn you Coachella.
